Bishop Keith Barnwell

Bishop Keith Barnwell along with his wife Marcia founded Remnants Refuge Fellowship in 2018. Keith received the lord in 1989 after hearing Mother Mattie Scott preach the sermon "We were all sometimes foolish" at St James Church of Deliverance in Washington, DC. He was baptized later that year and  became a member of the church under Pastors David and Joyce Fields.  He sang in the Choir and has been working building the Kingdom of God since that time. When he relocated to North Carolina he attended Greater New Mills Chapel under then Pastor Greta B. Moses. Following the plan of God He was ordained a Bishop in the Lords Church in 2018 by Apostle Greta B. Moses of Greater New Mills Chapel Church Fellowship.

Pastor Dr. Marcia Barnwell

Pastor Barnwell along with her husband Keith founded Remnants Refuge Fellowship in 2018. She was saved at a young age and credits much of her early religious training to her Great-Grandmother, "Grandma Lowery" who shared valued wise and still remembered wisdom.  Her dedication to God was evident to most and she worked in Sunday School and Children's Church for a number of years as she reared her 6 children. She ushered as her husband sang and they both served in various capacities over the years at St James Church of deliverance.  Moving to Gastonia she served in the ministry at New Canaan Baptist Church under the Late Reverend Thomas Collins and served in Greater New Mills Chapel with Apostle Greta B. Moses. She was ordained a Minister in the Lord's church in 1998 and worked to share the Gospel of Jesus to all who would hear. Her work in secret was rewarded openly as she was ordained Pastor in 2017 by Apostle Greta B. Moses of Greater New Mills Chapel Church Fellowship. She received her early education in Maryland. Her Bachelors Degree in Business 2008, Her Masters Degree in Public Administration in 2010 and a Doctorate in Education in 2017.
